Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial
Every new account gets a 3-day free trial with full access to the features in the chosen plan. No payment information is collected during the trial. If you do not subscribe within the trial window, your account remains usable in limited read-only mode and no charge is made.
2. Subscription Billing
JewelKhata sells subscription plans (Basic and Pro) on a monthly or annual cycle. Subscriptions are sold through Google Play (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS), and billing is handled entirely by those platforms.
Renewal happens automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
3. How to Cancel
- Android (Google Play): Open Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → JewelKhata → Cancel subscription.
- iOS (App Store): Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → JewelKhata → Cancel subscription.
After cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds
Because billing is processed by Google Play or the App Store, refunds are governed by those platforms' own refund policies. We cannot issue refunds directly from inside the app.
- Google Play: refund requests within 48 hours of purchase are usually granted automatically via the Play Store.
- Apple App Store: refund requests can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days. Apple decides at its discretion.
If a refund request is rejected by the platform, please contact us at support@jewelkhata.app and we will review the case in good faith.
5. Subscription Changes & Upgrades
You can upgrade or downgrade between Basic and Pro at any time. Pro-rated credits are handled by the store platform. Switching between monthly and annual is also allowed; the new cycle starts at the next renewal.
6. Data After Cancellation
Because JewelKhata stores your data locally on your device, cancelling a subscription does not delete your data. You can resume access to the paid features by re-subscribing at any time and your existing ledger remains intact.
