How to add your first customer in JewelKhata

Adding a customer is the first thing most jewellers do after the PIN setup. The form is short by design — name and phone are required, everything else is optional.

    Open Customers tab

    Tap the Customers tab in the bottom navigation.

    Tap the + button

    Use the floating + button in the bottom-right corner to start a new customer.

    Enter name and phone

    These two fields are required. Phone is auto-formatted; you can paste the number from contacts.

    Add address and notes

    Optional. The notes field is good for "prefers WhatsApp" or "regular at Diwali" — anything that helps you remember the customer later.

    Save

    Tap Save. The customer now appears at the top of the list, searchable by name or phone.
